Our Pets [I'll get pictures here soon]
We have house pets which like our homestead animals need too help pay their own way. Our two cats work as the frontline defence against the mice that the snake residing in the basement doesn't catch. Our Malti-wawa-poo is a bed warmer, entertainer, door bell and alarm all rolled into a cute little package. Our Newfoundland is a great deterent to anyone even considering breaking into our house, her bark is so deep and loud no sane person would ever open a door with her behind it. The Newfoundland is a gentle giant, but if her family is threatened she may take it into her head to knock down an intruder, sit on them and bark in their face...
We will be breeding one litter a year from our pet Newfoundland Millie for about four years, after which time we will retire her to the job of just lying around as a live bear rug in our living room, sitting on our deck or just hanging out with us in the yard. If you are interested in ordering a puppy out of this beautiful, sweet natured family pet email me to place a reservation. The puppies will be raised in our home and well socialized with adults and children.
I am considering breeding a litter from our Malti-wawa-poo, I would breed her to a poodle, so her puppies would be 3/4 Poodle, 1/8 Maltese and 1/8 Chiwawa. This little dog has personality plus and has alerted us when our sheep got out one day, when our filly escaped through a downed section of fence and to the fact that a neighbors pony stallion was trying to break into our pasture one night. Sadie is a bundle of energy, she will play at retrieving for as long as anyone wants to play with her. She has also taken to herding chickens and goats with us which really amazed us.
