On August 31, 2010 Thor made a surprise entry into the world -- momma had not waxed and her udder wasn't filling out so Val was still in pasture with the herd. Little Thor was born outdoors on fresh green grass with the whole herd in attendance. The picture to the right shows him with his dam and sire on his birthday. It's not a great picture of any of them, but I love it! Thor is offered for sale at $1900 [firm], if he doesn't sell we really don't care, he will be a great ride - drive gelding in time and at an estimated 14.2hh will be a good size for both. |

R1C2 | Stephanie was outdoors taking pictures when Thor came up to her to see if there was anything he could do to help. She turned around and there he was so she snapped this picture. He is getting a lot friendlier with age and seeks out human company more all the time. |
| Here is Thor at almost four months of age. Still a bay, even though when he started shedding out of his baby hair his face was as black as his sire's. Thor is filling out nicely and getting quite tall. He is rather full of himself right now, thinking that he is the crown prince of the herd, his sire allows him to believe that, but takes him to task when he gets too rambuncious. He is a fast learner for his humans, who don't indulge him as much as his herd does. He is coming along well with his baby training, picking up his feet nicely and leading very well. | thor |

This group of pictures show Thor at five weeks of age, he has been living with the herd for about two weeks now and we love watching the interaction between him and the other horses, particularly his sire.
![]() Top left shows a family picture, but Thor had some extra lessons to learn and his momma Val had grass to eat, so as you can see in the above picture she headed away to do some serious eating while keeping one eye on her baby. Leading along very nicely to where his sire Bears Pride [Teddy] stood. Teddy has always shown a lot of interest in his son and he and two of our Gypsy mares watched as Thor was being a little difficult on the lead rope, so had the rope tucked around his butt to get him moving. ![]() ![]() Clover would loved to have come with him. ![]() They were very interested in him! ![]() |

![]() ![]() Val was playing hard to catch, which is quite out of character for her so Madeleine coaxed her with an apple. |
